STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES USED


CHAIN (abbrev. ch)
YO and pull through the loop on hook.

CHAIN SPACE (abbrev. ch1sp)
To create a stitch within a chain space, just insert your hook into the space (underneath the chain) to make your stitch.

SLIP STITCH (abbrev. sl st)
Insert hook in stitch, YO and pull through all 2 loops on hook.

CROCHETING INTO THE BACK BUMP OF A CHAIN
When you turn your chain, you’ll see a small ‘bump’ on the wrong side of each stitch.



START CROCHETING |


Turning chains at the beginning of row count as a stitch.

Number of rows in pattern repeat : 1

Reversible.

To begin: multiple 2 + 2 turning chains

Row 01. Starting in 4th ch through back bumps, sc, [ch, skip ch, slst in next ch] to end.

Row 02. ch 2, turn, skip slst, slst through back bump of the ch, [ch, sk slst, slst through back bump of  the ch] to last 2 sts, ch, skip next slst, slst in last ch1sp.

Repeat rows 02 until desired height is reached.
