“STRAIGHT EDGES TIP” – BY HILARIA FINA

This is another really simple way to achieve straight edges when we crochet in rows using double crochet stitches.

Here are the steps:

*Turn the work counterclockwise.

*Chain 2 to start.

*Insert the hook into the back loop of the second chain, yarn over and pull through (2 loops on the hook).

*Insert the hook into the first stitch, yarn over and pull through (3 loops on the hook).

*Next, crochet the double crochet stitch as usual, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on the hook (2 loops on the hook), yarn over and pull through both loops on the hook at once.
