The Douglas fir is a tough conifer adapted to fire, with a great ability for recovering. With a thick crust and buds in the top of its branches that help resilience. Trees sprout from the treetop and the tree, apparently dead, will go back to green next spring.

Using fine weight yarn finished item will turn out a height of approx. 1.10 cm.
