Troubled waves stick to the manes
of the rough horses of the winds;
illuminated by reddish glows,
when in mountains anvil its hammer beats the thunder.

Level 2 – easy
If you are looking for a relaxing project, this is what you want. These patterns are very repetitive. They use basic stitches and easy procedures.

Stitches and Techniques used (U.S. terminology)
CHAIN (ABBREVIATION ch)
YO and pull through loop on hook.
DOUBLE CROCHET (ABBREVIATION: dc)
YO, insert hook into the stitch, YO and pull the yarn through the stitch (3 loops on your hook), YO and pull through the first 2 loops on the hook in one go (2 loops remain on the hook), YO again and pull through the remaining 2 loops on the hook.
CROCHETING INTO THE BACK BUMP OF A CHAIN
Usually you crochet in the right side of the chain. When you turn your chain, you’ll see a small ‘bump’ on the wrong side of each stitch. Insert your hook under this back bump.

Crochet hook 2.75 mm (C US), 3.25 mm (D US)

Notes
This pattern is written in US terminology.
This design is crocheted in back and forth rows.
Turning chains at the beginning of row count as a first stitch.
Making the design is a three-step process: first step is to make a grid base, second step is to crochet the chains and third step is to woven the chains in two directions: right to left and bottom-up through the grid to create the geometric effect.
The whole design is worked using double crochet and chain stitches.
