There are many ways to make slip stitch decreases. Next I will show you the ones I use, they are completely invisible on both sides of fabric and do not leave holes.

DECREASE SLIP STITCH BOTH LOOPS

1. Insert hook through both loops of the next st, YO and pull up loop (2 loops on hook).

2. Insert hook through both both loops of the next stitch, YO and pull up loop (3 loops on hook).

3. Pull the first loop on hook through all loops.

DECREASE SLIP STITCH FRONT LOOP

Insert the hook in 2 stitches, but in the opposite direction to what you are used to.

1. Skip a stitch.

2. Insert hook through front loop of the next stitch and through front loop of the skipped stitch (3 loops on hook).

3. YO and pull through all loops.

DECREASE SLIP STITCH BACK LOOP

1. Insert hook through back loop of first stitch and the second stitch (3 loops on hook).

2. YO and pull through all loops.
