CHAIN (abbrev. ch)
YO and pull through the loop on hook.

DOUBLE CROCHET
YO, insert hook in stitch, YO and pull up loop (3 loops on hook), YO and pull through the first 2 loops on hook (2 loops on hook), YO again and pull through the remaining 2 loops on hook.

START CROCHETING |

To begin: make a slip knot and then 4 ch.

STEP 01. Insert hook in 4th ch and make double crochet stitch.

STEP 02. 3 ch, yarn over, insert hook in front loop and the vertical loop of double crochet stitch and make one double crochet.

Repeat step 02 until you reach the desired length.
