24 Nov How to Make Triple Strand from a Ball of Yarn
If you have a skein of yarn thinner than needed for your project, you can try this trick to increase its thickness.
STEP BY STEP
1 | Fold the strand into three equal parts.
2 | Start crocheting with the three strands as if they were one.
3 | As you need more yarn, use your index and thumb to pass it through the loop and pull. Keep crocheting with the three remaining strands.
Repeat step 3 each time the yarn runs out, making sure to pass the new strand through the loop before continuing to crochet.
This trick will not only increase the thickness of the yarn but also create an interesting effect in the fabric due to the three strands
