STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES USED
CHAIN (abbrev. ch)
YO and pull through the loop on hook.
SLIP STITCH (abbrev. sl st)
Insert hook in stitch, YO and pull through stitch and loop on hook.
SINGLE CROCHET (abbrev. sc)
Insert hook in stitch, YO and pull up loop (2 loops on hook), YO again and pull through both loops on hook.
YO and insert hook in stitch, YO and pull up loop (3 loops on hook), YO and pull through 1st loop on hook (3 loops on hook), YO and insert hook in same stitch, YO and pull up loop (5 loops on hook), YO and pull through all 5 loops on hook.
CROCHETING INTO THE BACK BUMP OF A CHAIN
Usually you crochet in the right side of the chain. When you turn your chain, you’ll see a small ‘bump’ on the wrong side of each stitch.

Turning chain at the beginning of row do not count as a stitch.
Number of rows in pattern repeat : 2
TO BEGIN: multiple 2 + 1 + 1 turning chain.
ROW 01. Starting in 2nd ch through back bumps, sc to end.
ROW 02. ch, turn, [slst, berry st] repeat to end, working slst in last st.
ROW 03. ch, turn, [sc, slst] repeat to end, working sc in last st
Repeat rows 02 to 03 until you reach desired size.
