Stitches & Techniques Used
CHAIN
Yarn over and pull through the loop on hook.
SLIP STITCH
Insert hook in stitch, yarn over and pull through stitch and loop on hook.
DOUBLE CROCHET
Yarn over, insert hook in stitch, yarn over and pull up loop (3 loops on hook), yarn over and pull through the first 2 loops on hook (2 loops on hook), yarn over again and pull through the remaining 2 loops on hook.
INVISIBLE FASTEN OFF
Thread the needle. Skip the first stitch and insert the needle from back to front under both loops of the second stitch of the last round. Go back and insert the needle into the last stitch, taking only the front loop. Gently pull the yarn without tightening to match the tension of the fabric. This creates a false stitch that mimics the fabric, resulting in a completely invisible join.
