CHAIN (abbrev. ch)
YO and pull through the loop on hook.

SLIP STITCH (abbrev. sl st)
Insert hook in stitch, YO and pull through stitch and loop on hook.

SINGLE CROCHET (abbrev. sc)
Insert hook in stitch, YO and pull through the stitch (2 loops on hook), YO and pull through both loops on hook at once.

Place slip knot on hook, YO 3 times, insert hook in stitch, YO and pull up a loop (5 loops on hook), pull first loop on hook through second loop 3 times (2 loops on hook), YO and pull through both loops on hook.

INCREASE (abbrev. inc)
To work an extra stitch, you simply need to work into the same stitch more than once. Work one stitch as normal. Insert hook into same stitch you’ve just worked and complete another st.

Cut yarn, pull yarn tail through last stitch made and thread tail through yarn needle. Insert needle under both loops at the top of the second stitch of the round and pull yarn through. Then, insert needle through back loop of the last stitch made and pull yarn tail through. You’ve created a false stitch, tighten it by pulling on the yarn tail until it mimics the size of your other stitches.

    • ch = chain
    • inc = increase
    • sc = single crochet
    • slst = slip stitch
    • st (s) = stitch (es)
    • Rnd … = At the beginning of each pattern line, you’ll find “Rnd” + a number to indicate which “round”.
    • (…) = At the end of each line you will find the number of stitches you should have at end of each line.
    • […] x … = When part of the instructions repeat throughout the “round”, it ́ll be placed between brackets x the number of times it should be repeated.
