START CROCHETING | RIBBING STITCH

This stitch is worked in rows in this tutorial.

Turning chain at the beginning of row do not count as a stitch.

Number of rows in pattern repeat : 2

No reversible.

To begin:  make a slip knot and then for the inicial chain make multiple 1 + 1.

Row 01. starting in 2nd ch through back bumps (this makes a pretty edge), hdcss in each ch to end.

Row 02. ch, turn, hdcss in each stitch to end.

Row 03. ch, turn, hdcss-tfl in each stitch to end.

Repeat row 02 and 03 until desired height is reached.

TIP

To get straighter edges with no holes, last stitch in row 03 is worked through the front loop and the turning chain.
