Chevron Crochet Cord

STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES USED

CHAIN (abbrev. ch)
YO and pull through the loop on hook.

SLIP STITCH (abbrev. sl st)
Insert hook in stitch, YO and pull through stitch and loop on hook.

DOUBLE TREBLE CROCHET (abbrev. dtr)
YO 3 times, insert hook into the stitch, YO and pull the yarn through the stitch (5 loops on hook), YO and pull through the first 2 loops on hook (4 loops on hook), YO and pull through the first 2 loops again (3 loops on hook), YO and pull through the first 2 loops again (2 loops on hook), YO again and pull through both loops on hook.

START CROCHETING | 2 STRAPS

The pattern for this chevron cord is two long strap of crochet with eyelets worked with chains and double treble crochet.

Once the two strips have been worked, weave both as I show you in the video.

To begin | make a slip knot and then 4 ch.

Step 01 | insert hook in 4rd ch and make dtr.

Step 02 | 4 ch, YO 3 times, insert hook in front loop and the vertical loop of next stitch and complete a regular dtr.

Repeat step 02 until you reach the desired length.

TO FINISH | slip stitch.

Repeat again to make the second strap.
