STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES USED
CHAIN (abbrev. ch)
YO and pull through the loop on hook.
SLIP STITCH (abbrev. sl st)
Insert hook in stitch, YO and pull through all 2 loops on hook.
SINGLE CROCHET (abbrev. sc)
Insert hook in stitch, YO and pull up loop (2 loops on your hook), YO again and pull through both loops on hook.
EXTRA EXTENDED SINGLE CROCHET (abbrev. eesc)
Insert hook in stitch and pull up a loop, [YO and pull through 1 loop on hook] twice, YO and pull through all loops on hook.
CROCHETING INTO THE BACK BUMP OF A CHAIN
When you turn your chain, you’ll see a small ‘bump’ on the wrong side of each stitch.
- ch = chain
- sc = single crochet
- slst = slip stitch
- eesc = extra extended single crochet
- […] = When part of the instructions repeat throughout the “row”, it ́ll be placed between brackets.
START CROCHETING | BOBBLET STITCH
- Turning chain at the beginning of row do not count as a stitch.
- Number of rows in pattern repeat : 4
- Not Reversible.
To begin: multiple 2 + 1 + 1 turning chain
Row 01. Starting in 2nd ch through back bumps, sc to end.
Row 02. ch, turn, slst in first st, [eesc, slst] to end.
Row 03. ch, turn, sc to end.
Row 04. ch, turn, slst in first 2 sts, [eesc, slst] to last st, slst in last st.
Row 05. ch, turn, sc to end.
Repeat rows 02|05 until desired height is reached.
